The ACCORD project was presented to representatives of 52 architectural organizations from 36 European countries during the Architects’ Council of Europe’s (ACE) recent General Assembly in Luxembourg. The presentation highlighted key project results, including the landscape review and emerging trends in BIM-permit automation, process mapping, and the roadmap methodology for implementing BIM-based building permits and the training material. Practical examples from Finland and Spain were also featured, providing real-world insights into the project’s application.
In addition, the ACCORD project was showcased in the conference “Architects + Engineers: Partnership for Resilient Design”, held on May 15, 2025, in Luxembourg. The event was organised by the Order of Architects and Consulting Engineers (OAI), the Architects’ Council of Europe (ACE), the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA), and the European Council of Engineers Chambers (ECEC). It brought together approximately 100 professionals from the architectural and engineering fields.
During the conference, ACCORD project partners engaged with participants to discuss the innovative BIM-permit solutions developed through the project, fostering valuable exchanges and insights on the future of digital permitting systems.
